Stop Injustice: 5 Weeks for Freedom

Stop Injustice: 5 Weeks for Freedom is a major awareness and advocacy campaign to support the work of International Justice Mission and give a voice to victims of modern-day slavery and other forms of injustice. A team of ordinary people is giving up 5 weeks to cycle 1800 miles of the Underground Railroad – a route that reminds us that change happens when ordinary people do what they can to stop injustice, that the evil of slavery has been defeated once, and that, together, we can do it again.

Over the 5 weeks of the campaign – June 28 to July 31 – the 5 Weeks for Freedom team will stop in the following cities:

  • Mobile (6/26)
  • Louisville (7/17)
  • Cleveland (7/27)
  • Birmingham (7/3)
  • Nashville (7/9–11)
  • Cincinnati (7/21–22)
  • Columbus (7/24)
  • Buffalo (7/30)

These major cities along the tour route will host events featuring music, celebrities, documentary screenings, grassroots advocacy events, the tour riders and more –- to raise awareness of modern- day slavery and other forms of violent oppression, and empower people to take action to stop injustice. The tour will culminate with IJM’s second annual Weekend to End Slavery, during which we will ask 1 million people to view our short documentary online or as part of local screening events around the country. Will you join us?
